Posted on Apr 3 2013 - 7:56am

All:

1. Daily News Staff MARLBOROUGH – Marlborough resident and anti-poverty advocate Lynn Faust will be among a handful of Rotarians invited to the White House to be honored as a "Champion of Change." Faust, who has spearheaded a number of local initiatives to help the needy, was chosen by Rotary International officials as one of 16 Champions of Change to be celebrated at the second annual Rotary Day at the White House on April 5.
........Congratulations and thank you to Matt Burger's mom.

2. There are 8 scout spots still available for the amazing 2013 National Scout Jamboree in West Virginia July 13th to 24th. Decisions are needed ASAP. Scouts must be past 6th grade and at First Class rank by July. The cost for the 2 weeks is $1,650 and includes a stop at Civil War sites. Troop 2 has a record six scouts attending this grand opening of the Summit Bechtel Reserve. There's an orientation meeting this Saturday in Southboro if you're interested and want to learn more. Registration is handled by John Fortini at Knox Trail Council. Let me know if you have questions. https://summit.scouting.org/en/jamboree2013
