Mike DelGenio Eagle Project

Posted on Aug 21 2014 - 10:28am

Troop 2
Hey guys its Mike. Last Saturday we started work on my Eagle Project which is pouring concrete slabs in the dugouts of Upper Field at Stevens park. We got a lot of work done in a few hours by removing the fences and preparing the area for the bulk of the work which will take place this Saturday. The task this weekend will be to remove all the loam from the dugouts and install a base of crush stone for the cement to sit on. We will also be building forms out of wood to create the shape of the concrete slabs. The work will be done in three stages throughout the morning and early afternoon. The schedule is listed below and there will be different tasks depending on what time you arrive.

Hello everyone,

Thank you very much for those of you who came out to help me today. We ended up making and finishing all of the hexagon picnic tables and were able to bring them to the Middle School courtyard.

Good evening Troop 2

I am relieved to finally say this, my eagle project was finished today. A great thank you to Matt Woods and Mrs. Woods for coming today and donating their time on a Sunday morning, and for helping me put out around 102 "No Dumping" stickers.

Thank you to all the volunteers who came out this weekend.
