The next Life to Eagle seminar will be held on Monday, March 15, 2010 at
6:30PM at Tatnuck's Bookseller on Lyman St. in Westborough. Please let
me know how many people to expect from your troop so that we have enough
handouts. The seminar is geared for Life scouts, however, if you have
Star scouts near the rank of Life, it would be good for them to attend
as well.

There are 4 special merit badges that have been resurrected for the
Centennial year. These merit badges can only be earned in calendar year
2010 and must be complete by the end of the year. The badges are
Signaling, Pathfinding, Tracking, Carpentry.

These are some troubling times right now in Haiti caused by
the huge earthquakes a few weeks ago. A local Assabet Valley
Tech nursing teacher is going to Haiti on the 1st of March. I
would like to help by collecting the following items:

· Children’s multiple vitamins (not gummy)
· Petroleum jelly
· Neosporin, Tylenol, Motrin etc.
· Antibacterial soaps
· Band aids
· Baby clothes (new or gently used)
· Cold medicine
· Deflated soccer balls and pumps
· Board games
· Soccer, basketball, football etc.
· Eye and ear drops
· Large and small baggies
· Crocs shoes
· Money! Checks can be made out to Ellen Santos!
